I enjoy the Dasein Project the most when there is a variety.  In this issue we have a bit of that, with some art, writing, and video. The collaborative art of  Schmitt Hall Studios provides a haunting reality to being and offers a deeply felt presence.  Richard Bargdill’s Part II of an essay he wrote in October continues his awesome and humanistic exploration of the psychologist, the artist, and the client.  Lee Vance, a new member to the Dasein Project staff, has written a personal piece about his work in a hospital, his own experience of illness, and how we treat other human beings who suffer.

Lastly, I am very excited to be supporting the efforts of the Neighborhood Film Co.  Please read their entry and watch their video.  They have a great project going on where they are employing the homeless, addicted, and those struggling with mental illness, in the movie making business.  This is a great project and I hope they succeed.
